Shipping policy

All products will be shipped from Canada, using either Canada Post or ChitChats.

Once an order is placed and payment has been successfully processed, it will be shipped out within 2 business days from Oakville, ON Canada. Once an order has been shipped and in the control of either carrier, Canada Post or ChitChats, it cannot be retrieved or cancelled.

COVID-19 in 2020 had resulted in delays in postal delivery. However, now since 2022 to date, it appears most of these issues have been resolved— at least as long as there are no more severe future outbreaks.

However, during November with the onset of heavy shopping expected for BLACK FRIDAY and the upcoming Holiday Christmas and Hannukah season, Canada Post, ChitChats and its partner, the United States Postal Service (USPS) are expected to experience unprecedented volumes across both networks.

Delivery times will be further impacted if packages are detained for inspection by the United States Customs and Border Protection for goods entering that country.

Strung Out On Pearls is not responsible for any such time delays as these are enforcement issues beyond its control.

Any potential duty and Customs charges are not included in the purchase price. They are calculated by US Customs at the point of entry into the United States for any goods coming outside of that country. The buyer/purchaser shall be responsible for any and all Customs duties and taxes if they are applicable.

Effective October 29, 2023 Strung Out On Pearls is offering the Free Tracked tracked packages for orders over $100 usd to addresses located within Canada and to addresses destined to Continental USA. The previous free shipping threshold had been for orders over $120 usd. However, the service time frames to receive these orders at their final destinations are not guaranteed by either Strung Out On Pearls or Canada Post.

A FLAT RATE Regular Standard $15 USD  Rate will apply for items under the $100 USD Free shipping Minimum. There is no guaranteed tracking on these packages.

Strung Out On Pearls would not be able to investigate should the package not be delivered. Again, Customs delays and any duties and taxes imposed by US Customs and Border Protection for packages going to the United States cannot be compensated.
