It was created honouring a beloved Mother and the lasting legacy that she left behind.

I selected the rich warm colour of the dyed gold freshwater pearls because they represented the treasure she was to our family. I gifted my sister-in-laws the same necklace.  We all wore them in tribute at the interment service a few years ago.
