Consider adding one of the metal chain mask lanyards that lets you take off the mask temporarily and keeps it securely against your throat so that it doesn't become contaminated. The mask chain attaches to the side mask elastics so you don't have to touch the mask itself when you take it off. Just grasp the elastics.
